Festivals Kelowna is a non-profit society that produces arts-based, community-focused outdoor events and programs in parks and public spaces throughout Kelowna.

Our core events include the Kelowna Buskers Program, Celebrate Canada Day – Kelowna, Pianos in Parks, Parks Alive!, Arts on the Avenue, and New York New Year's Eve. We also present "Buskers on Bernard" in mid-August, a showcase of our "Kelowna Buskers Program".

All our events are free to attend, can be enjoyed by all ages, and offer something for everyone's taste. We hold our events and programs in more than 18 different outdoor parks, with a goal to animate and energize our public spaces through live arts and culture experiences.

We proudly work with the City of Kelowna, our major funder and a key supporter of community-focused, accessible, cultural festivals and events.

Come visit us in our offices at #100-1680 Water Street in the Commerce Centre at the corner of Harvey Avenue and Water Street.

Arts on the Avenue is a new one day, arts-focused, outdoor event celebrating and promoting our local visual artist community. This funky event will feature various elements relating to visual arts, from opportunities for retail sales, live performances, and a hands-on community engagement art project.

Celebrate Canada Day - Kelowna is a one-day, community festival dedicated to celebrating our Canadian pride through music, food, and art.  To be a part of the fun as a vendor or performer, please click through to the event page.

Pianos in Parks Thanks to our partners, 8 public pianos  are placed in downtown Kelowna and area. Pianos are available for anyone to play from mid-June to the end of September. We welcome the world to make beautiful music in our parks and public spaces.

New York New Years was introduced in 2012 as a way for our community and families with young children to ring in the New Year together. Held in Jim Stuart Park on December 31st from 6:00 to 9:00 pm each year, families are invited to ring in the New Year with us at this free celebration featuring live music, kids activities, skating, a warm-up zone, fireworks and more. You can find more details on the event page.

The Kelowna Buskers Program is a year-round program that welcomes local and touring buskers/street performers to present their unique art form in designated "Busk Stops" throughout the downtown, and other locations in Kelowna.
