Who We Are

Festivals Kelowna is a non-profit society that produces arts-based, community-focused, outdoor events and programs in parks and public spaces throughout Kelowna.

All our events are free to attend, can be enjoyed by all ages, and offer something for everyone’s taste.

Our goal is to animate and energize public spaces through live cultural experiences.

We proudly work with the City of Kelowna, our major funder and a key supporter of community-focused, accessible, cultural festivals and events.

Our core festivals and programs

  • Kelowna Buskers Program
  • Pianos in Parks
  • Celebrate Canada Day – Kelowna
  • Parks Alive!
  • Arts on the Avenue
  • New York New Years Eve

In addition to these programs, our cool team of event peeps collaborate with and support many local festivals and events that are important to our community.

Vision

Connecting our community through festivals and events.

“I wanted to send an email because I have been in Kelowna this week – basically on holiday – but I have been absolutely delighted to see such a structured approach to deliver “experiences”. The amount of events that Festival Kelowna puts on, the pianos around the town and just the branding – it’s brilliant. For being such a small town and, in my opinion, in the middle of nowhere, is actually punching above the weight of the town. I really am absolutely amazed and surprised and love it.”
